Waiting for the....

RAIN seems simple enough and it's what the kiddos did the other day. Trey saw some dark clouds out the window and came up with the great idea to grab the umbrellas and head outside. I love watchin' a good old storm a brewin', so, there, in our own little driveway, my three little munchkins and I watched and waited for the drops to fall....

Tay wasn't quite sure about the umbrellas. Trey must have asked her at least 10 times to get under with him and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with it....

Here come the drops...

And a little movement from Trey as they started to come down harder and harder. He was actually heading for Taylen to see if she had changed her mind about the umbrella...

Not. So. Much. This sweetie decided to take shelter in the garage with her Momma!

Looks like they are doing their job...fun, rainy times!

Now, instead of waiting for the rain to come, they're waiting for the storm to pass....a few seconds later, they decided to PLAY in the rain, but we quickly changed our minds when the thunder cracked and the lightning struck. Needless to say, we spent the rest of the time waiting the storm out....INSIDE!

Great idea, Trey Man! We had fun waiting for the rain...just visiting and talking about anything and everything. Spending those sweet moments together is always at the top of my "Favorites" list!!!
