STRIKE!

Ha! There were none of those this time for the Weite Crew! But that doesn't mean it our latest trip to the bowling alley wasn't a huge success!!

We all had a blast, that's for sure!! And, no bragging or anything, but this Momna WON! Woot-Woot!!

Great first practice, Trey Man!! We can't wait for your first game & know this is going to be a lot of fun for everyone!! Who knows...you could be playing on Sundays someday!!! Until then, have a fun year of soaking it all in & giving it all you've got!!!

Back to School Night!!!

The kiddos had a blast heading to school the other night, meeting their teachers, seeing their classrooms for the next nine months, and unpacking all of their supplies.

It was the perfect opportunity to laugh, smile, and get the butterflies out...and they soaked up every previous moment!

First Day FUN!!!

Everyone around here has officially said, "Good-bye" to summer break and is quickly getting back into the school-year daily grind!!

The first days back were successful for everyone & these three really are pumped for an awesome school year full of learning, socializing, and just lots of personal growth all around....

Our big preschooler! I seriously cannot believe she's in the big kid room...I'm remember dropping her off a teeny tiny 5 month baby!! She's going to miss her big sis like crazy & Ty's always been her #1, but is so pumped to go at it alone for the first time ever!!! Her friends, her teacher, her toys, her books, her songs, her show & tell times, her artwork, her nap time, her ideas, her words, and just her spot. Hers alone...which hasn't ever happened!!! Like in the history of ever!!! Happy leading your own way, Peanut!! The sky's the limit!!! You're my sunshine and I love you so much I could squeeze you!!!

Our big kindergartens has owned it from day one!! Not a year shed & all smiles. She's been talking about this moment since Trey started the "big" school & each & every day we'd pick him up, she'd tell me all about how she'd be there someday soon!! Well, Little Miss, your someday soon is finally here & I just know you're going to have the most fun and love every single second of every single day this year! You've already brought home so many new things & tell constantly tell us how much you love school!!! You love your teacher. You love your friends, you even told us you love your desk! So fun!!! Keep smilin' and skipping to your own little happy beat!! Love you to the moon and back!!!

Trey Man!! You're in 3rd grade!! Say what?!? It doesn't seem possible!! You're so ready to tackle the learning and life lessons that are in store for you this school year...you're upbeat, positive, and all smiles! You're going to rock it, I just know! Believe on yourself & own it...and always strive to be a little better than you were yesterday!! Enjoy science & the bug unit...you've already been collecting & freezing those things so you're ready for the big 3rd grade project!!! Can't wait to head all about the new daily 3rd grade happenings!!! It's going to be a stellar year!!! Love you BUNCHES & BUNCHES!!!

Back-to-School Time is...

almost here!!!

The kiddos had a blast running up to the front doors of the school & finding their names on their new class list!! I'd say they both were happy with their teacher assignment...

So fun!

Here's to the last few days of SUMMER!!

Iowa State Fair Fun 2014

And the weather could not have been more perfect!!

Now that school and football are picking back up around here, we've been busy. But, we knew we couldn't let the fair come & go without making it down to the fairgrounds at least once. So, on Monday, after Jason's football & my day of teacher meetings, we decide to go for it!!

Now, I'm not too attached to the fair, especially after I happened to sweat through my shirt the FIRST time I ever went with Jason!! Geeze, it had to have been at least 15 years ago & it was the most embarrassing thing ever back then!! Sweet first impression, eh?!? "Hi, I think you're cute & I sweat a lot!" Ha!

Looking back on it though, it really wasn't THAT bad!! I'm pretty EVERYONE was sweating through their shirts...it was about 110 degrees in the middle of August!

Anyway...we know the kids like to go & I don't mind people watching at all, so it worked out!! The kids had a blast on the rides & we all enjoyed moseying around without a care in the world! It was so nice to not be in a hurry for a change...
