Reading Buddies....

and they just can't get enough of books these days! Time after time, we find Ty "reading" books to Tay (or her baby dolls) and telling her all about the pictures and what she's seeing....it's too cute and I know these are those precious little moments that I want to remember forever!

Tay's vocabulary is growing like crazy these days and Miss Ty is really, really on top of re-telling, without skipping a beat, the stories she's heard....which just so happens to make these two quite the perfect pair!

Tay's face in this shot is priceless!!!

Keep on reading, girls! You are a rockin'.....

Ty, I'm so proud of you for being such a patient, supportive, loving big sister. Tay, I'm so proud of you for being kind, inquisitive, and eager to learn. You two are quite the team and I can only imagine how many moments like this you have together ahead of you. And, I'm looking forward to witnessing each and every one...LOVE you two all the way to the moon and back!

Hugs and Kisses and MORE Hugs and Kisses!!!

Now, ain't that CRAFTY?!?

Who would have thought that, after weeks of looking, I'd end up with five of the most perfect stockings?!?!

Take five red, snowflaked stockings, black sheet letters, and a hot iron.....

And LOOK what you get....

Which just happen to be perfect for our little family....

I'm even impressed with myself...which doesn't happen too often in the area of craftiness, creativity, and product production! WaHoo!

Now, only a few more days before Santa fills them!!! Stockings were always one of the best parts of Christmas morning...and I hope to continue that tradition with my little ones!!!

What will be in yours?!?

Ho-Ho-HO!

The Santa 2012 visit was a huge (crying-filled) success. Each one of us predicted that Miss Tay would throw a fit and she definitely came through. The "Ho-Ho-Ho's" and giggles that filled the air as we walked into the mall QUICKLY turned into hand-waiving, "All dones" the moment it was our turn to sit on Santa's lap and whisper our toy requests....

Sweet, isn't it!!! The two oldest in awe....

Excited to see the Big Man in Red....

Taking a couple of moments to whip up something to send to the North Pole....

LOVE this pic of Miss Ty...what a sight....

"Dear Santa....I really want a Dream Light."

(PLEASE notice Tay peeking in the window. She wanted to draw a picture, but wasn't willing to take the chance of possibly being thrown on Santa's lap again....Awww, Sweet Thing! I think tears are still streaming down that adorable face!)

Now, if that look doesn't speak to you...nothing will.

Great job with Santa, you three! Here's to a beautiful, joyous Christmas..I'm looking forward to enjoying each and every holiday moment with you. I love you bunches and bunches!!! Tight squeezes from your Momma!!!

Awwwwww.....

Quick Catch up...

from my many, many days of blog slacking. It's crazy how guilty I feel about not typing up updates of what's been going on lately. I never wanted to miss a beat and it's really amazing just how quickly time flies by. One blog behind quickly turned into a month behind, and picture difficulties have quickly lead to TWO months behind.

Awful.

I'm back on the blogging bandwagon, but am not going to have time to catch up tonight. So, in order to save a little face, I'm going to give a glimpse of a few things that we've been up to around here and then I'll write a little more when I get a sec....

Thanks for being patient...and, I'm sorry, Kiddos, that I have missed a few things here and there over the past 60 days. This Momma feels awful...

Enjoy a little sneak peak....

Ty had fun adding her 25 Birthday "Goldies" from Great Grandma Jean and Great Grandfather...

Who doesn't try their pumpkin?!?!

Thanks for being patient...and Julie W, THANKS for the picture help!

CONGRATS, Little Sis....

We are so proud of you and all your accomplishments! Thanks for letting us share in your special day and here's to a bright and beautiful future!!! This past weekend, Ty and I road tripped it down to StL for a short, little visit to celebrate with Aunt Calie. We were all ready to cheer her on as she made that walk triumphantly across the graduation stage....

YOU DID IT!!!

And...with this last walk across the stage, the Meier kids are all officially done with undergrad studies. I have a feeling the last one to graduate is also going to be the first one to get her Master's.

Waiting to move that tassel...

Stopping for a quick photo op....

Celebration lunch with the gang...

And, a little preview of what this cutie is going to look like in about 17 years from now!

Way to go, Calie!!! All your hard work has paid off and I couldn't be more proud of you!!!

BEHIND....

the word that doesn't even begin to describe my blogging efforts lately. As I sit down to attempt to START catching up on entries, I keep running into problem after problem with the picture uploader that's linked to this blog. It keeps telling me that I've reached my uploading photo limit.

WhatEV.

I've got to find a way to figure it out....if not, I don't know what the future holds for Our little Weite House page. The thought that I can't continue to capture all the kiddos little moments makes me tear up. The thought of this blog just "ending" with my last post, makes me sad because I know how excited they will be one day to have access to all these pics and stories in one, easy to read, spot.

Surely this can't be the end.

Can it?!?!

(I still can't figure out how to get a photo on here. Seriously. I know there are so many blogs out there that have WAY more photos on them and ones that have been going for years and years.)

YIKES!

Party Day!

I can't believe it...

My little girl is growing up right before my eyes and will be FOUR on Friday!!!

My little girl who I rocked and rocked morning and night each day that first year.

My little girl who, from day one, has had the most adorable smile that lights up my world.

My little girl who is always smiling, giggling, and dancing around like a pretty, pretty princess.

My little girl who would do absolutely anything for anyone and LOVES to help.

My little girl who loves just spending time together enjoying the little things in life.

My little girl who would walk around the block 100 times with me, holding hands and just talking about all life's joys.

My little girl who I absolutely could not live without and who makes me want to be the best Mommy I can possibly be.

All ready for PARTY DAY!

Dear Miss Ty,

We are so glad you had a fun, fun party day! You did a fantastic job on your cupcakes and are already a better baker than your Momma! Enjoy your fifth year and don't ever, ever forget just how much your daddy, brother, sister, and I all LOVE you. You are a beautiful little lady and are always making us laugh. You are lovin' just about everything right now and that independent streak is alive and kickin'. Never lose sight of your dreams and ALWAYS believe in yourself. You are AMAZING and certainly add a tremendous amount  to this world. Always encourage others and be a nice friend to everyone. Never let anyone squash that spirit and continue to smile and dance like crazy. You make my heart happy and I'm so lucky and proud to be your momma!!!!

Lots and LOTS of LOVE, hugs, and kisses!!!!

Happy, Happy 4th Birthday!!!!!!

~Mommy
