Party Day!

I can't believe it...

My little girl is growing up right before my eyes and will be FOUR on Friday!!!

My little girl who I rocked and rocked morning and night each day that first year.

My little girl who, from day one, has had the most adorable smile that lights up my world.

My little girl who is always smiling, giggling, and dancing around like a pretty, pretty princess.

My little girl who would do absolutely anything for anyone and LOVES to help.

My little girl who loves just spending time together enjoying the little things in life.

My little girl who would walk around the block 100 times with me, holding hands and just talking about all life's joys.

My little girl who I absolutely could not live without and who makes me want to be the best Mommy I can possibly be.

Dear Miss Ty,

We are so glad you had a fun, fun party day! You did a fantastic job on your cupcakes and are already a better baker than your Momma! Enjoy your fifth year and don't ever, ever forget just how much your daddy, brother, sister, and I all LOVE you. You are a beautiful little lady and are always making us laugh. You are lovin' just about everything right now and that independent streak is alive and kickin'. Never lose sight of your dreams and ALWAYS believe in yourself. You are AMAZING and certainly add a tremendous amount  to this world. Always encourage others and be a nice friend to everyone. Never let anyone squash that spirit and continue to smile and dance like crazy. You make my heart happy and I'm so lucky and proud to be your momma!!!!

Lots and LOTS of LOVE, hugs, and kisses!!!!

Happy, Happy 4th Birthday!!!!!!

Start with the lips....

Isn't she lovely?!?!

Love your face in this one, silly girl!!!

Way to go, Ty!!! Purple, Pink, and Blue are definitely her colors!! And, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you decided to make her all up instead of your little sis!!!!

Go, Get Your Glam On!!!

Had fun with these....

ladies a few weeks ago at Mish  & Steph's wedding reception back in O'Town!!! Congrats Mish & Steph...the wedding looked amazing!!! And, to you ladies, it was great catching up and tearing up the dance floor!!!!

We've found a new home...

for some of our favorite baby goodies we don't get to use anymore. Many of these things have been through all three and we couldn't be more excited to pass them along. These things are headed to a fourteen year-old Momma of a little baby girl. She said she wanted nothing more than for her baby to have an Exersaucer and we know she'll love this one!!! The items she doesn't get will go to other Mommas who could use a little help. THANKS, Trey, Ty, & Tay for donating your stuff to someone who's going to love it just as much as you have. This Momma is proud of you!!!

The kiddos posing with the goodies the morning I dropped them off. We know the new babies are going to love what they get!!!

Movie Nights....

are becoming one of my favorite things to do with you two. Last night was way too cold for the football game, so we decided to hang out and watch a movie together. We've had family movie nights since Trey was little and it's definitely going to be a family tradition! There's nothing better than popping up some popcorn, cozying up on the couch, and spending time together. Last night's choice was "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!"....which is one of our faves!!!! Trey loves the Cheerio part and Ty thinks it's funny when the Dad gets on that funny swing and searches through the grass. Tay, we can't wait to hear what your favorite part will be. You'll be joining us in no time!!! Great times together!!!!

All smiles and excited for the movie to start!

Silly Faces!

Happy movie watchin'

Love yas and can't wait to see what movie you guys pick next time. Let's have family movie nights FOREVER, okay?!?! XXX's & OOO's

It Happens....

and, we clean it up.

SIMPLE as THAT!

Oops! This wasn't the first time we've cleaned up a mess and it definitely won't be the last!!!

Love you, Baby Girl!

HOPE....

that Halloween goes a little better than this.....

Official fit throwin'!

Tay-Tay....you REALLY do make one cute, little ice cream cone!!! Hopefully, you will be too busy checking out the other kids' costumes and eating candy to pout on Trick-or-Treat night!!!!

GRUBS....

the sign of a not-so-healthy lawn. At least that's what I think I heard somewhere. I haven't Googled it or anything because we really don't spend too much time worrying about our yard....especially with this past summer's heat and lack of rain. If we had a "healthy" lawn, Ty and I never would have been able to have so much fun finding GRUBS. We seriously had more fun lifting up patches of grass, hoping to see those white, fat, slimy bugs. She's never been afraid of picking up any bug, so I wasn't surprised that she collected pretty much a cup full...

"Found another one, Momma!"

Just diggin'.....

This thing was seriously 2/3rds of the way full by the time we called it a day. Too bad we weren't heading out to fish. I think I heard somewhere that grubs make good bait......

Just hanging....

things up on the walls....FINALLY!!!

It's crazy to think that it's taken me over a year to get some things up on the wall.....

This is at the end of the hallway...it definitely doesn't look as awesome as what I saw on Pinterest, but I do love it. Now, we just need to update the pics. For some reason, I just can't get enough of these pics of the kids!!! The pic of the three is the first professional one we had of all of them together. And, the other two are my favorite of Trey and Tylee. They are growing up so quickly on me!!!

Biker Dude...

Trey is officially a Biker Dude and hits the neighborhood sidewalks daily. He's officially out of training wheels, for about the past 8 weeks. Yes, this post is LATE.

He's loving riding and doesn't even fight the wearing a helmet thing....safety first. AWLAYS.

Nice job, Trey! I told you that you'd get the hang of it. All it took was a little seat lowering and a few brave moments!!! Way to go!!! I'm proud of you even though you'd now rather ride your bike with the neighborhood kids instead of going on walks with your Momma and little sisters. Awwwwww! And, by the way, YES....I'm an "uncool" Mom that won't let you ride your bike ALL the way around the neighborhood by yourself yet. Sorry...be patient with me. Baby Steps!

Love you, Biker Dude!

Baking Bonanza....

Bahahaha...

Most of you know that I'm definitely NO Betty Crocker. I actually can't stand to cook or bake. Okay, maybe it's not THAT bad, but I definitely don't enjoy cooking. I feel like things rarely turn out like they are supposed to and the clean-up is the WORST part. Hopefully someday I will find joy in it, but I doubt it!

With all that being said...I have volunteered to help out with feeding the East football team the past few Thursday nights. I have made 4 DOUBLE BATCH 9 X13 pans of brownies....which means over 80 HUGE brownies a pop. As everyone knows....football boys don't want to eat any wimpy brownies!!!!

So, I hit the supermarket for boxed brownies and put my smile on. The first go round, I didn't start baking until about 8 pm. Well, needless to say, I was having to hold me eyelids open as midnight rolled around. Apparently, these pans take HOURS to bake. Oooops.

Even with the late hours of oven watching and toothpick poking, it wasn't all that bad. I know the boys loved them and the baking part was actually enjoyable. Yes....I said it. I would even do it again. Maybe even make them from scratch next time. Okay, not really on that last part.

Oh, and the kiddos even got some of their own. Which meant that they were happy campers!!!

GO SCARLETS! Eat Up.

Math Machine....

in action.

Working with pennies....

No arguments about homework....at least not yet!!!

Lookin' good, Buddy!!!

Trey Man,

You are LOVING 1st grade and have been doing an excellent job of getting your homework done before you head out to ride bikes with the neighborhood boys. I have to say that I'm super proud of all your hard work  and am so excited that school is going so well. You are always telling us about all the fun you're having and about all the things you are learning. So far, reading is your favorite and you've also said you're really liking science. Keep up the fabulous work and always remember that learning is FUN!

Love you BUNCHES & BUNCHES!
