Flag Football...

has arrived and there's one guy in this house who is by far the mos excited!!! 

He's pumped about practice. He's pumped about games. He's pumped about the jerseys. He's pumped about his wrist coach. He's pumped about playing quarterback. He's pumped about playing receiver. He's pumped about playing defense. 

He's just PUMPED!!! 

Great first practice, Trey Man!! We can't wait for your first game & know this is going to be a lot of fun for everyone!! Who knows...you could be playing on Sundays someday!!! Until then, have a fun year of soaking it all in & giving it all you've got!!!

Flag Football is in his...

Sights and he couldn't be more thrilled!! 

After a summer full if early morning conditioning work with the high school kids where Jason coaches, he's been chomping at the bit to get in and play a little flag football. 

We opted not to sign him up for tackle, figuring he needed at least a year of flag football under his belt before going there. (Plus, deep down, this momma is just NOT ready for crunching body parts.) 

The evaluation went well, he had a blast,  and walked away proud of himself & excited to get on a team and onto that field!!!

Here's to a great season of flag football, Trey Man!!! We're proud of all the work you've put in with Dad & the high school boys & know you're going to have a blast!!! We'll be there cheering you on, that's for sure!!! Way to work!!!

It's official!!! 

Ty had her first softball game EVER this afternoon!! She had a blast and got three great rips in up at the plate!!! 

Way to go, Miss Softball!!! You did fab!!

Oh, and cutest thing ever...Ty told me this morning when she was getting her uniform on that she picked #9 for her jersey because it was a special number!!

I told her she was exactly right.

It's Ball Time for the Weite's!!!

Arena Ball & Triple A Ball that is...

We are, without a doubt a huge sports family & this time of year always brings lots of ball games for us! 

We love cheering on all the local teams here in Des Moines, but our favorite two are the Barnstormers & the Iowa Cubs....

So, needless to say, we are ready to spend some family time at the stadiums & cheer to our hearts' content!!! 

I'm loving all of our memories, Munchkins!!! Here's to winning seasons and cheering loudly!!!

And, she's having a BLAST!!! I seriously cannot wait to spend my summer watching her play. I'm sure you will hear me cheering...I'll probably be the loudest Mom in the stands!!!
