My Grocery List was....

HIJACKED!!!

....by a funny little fellow who has really been working on his letters and numbers in kindergarten. Can you tell what he wanted me to grab at the store?!?!

Great job, Trey J!! You know this Momma couldn't ignore your request!! Love you!!!

This definitely made my shopping trip a little more fun...I may or may not have gotten a little chuckle and grin as I roamed the aisles looking for the few things we needed :)

I LOVE the Little Things ;)

October Equals....

PUMPKIN TIME and today marked our first little fun time with those good, old, orange globes!!

One of my students grows pumpkins and just happened to bring in three today for the kiddos!! So when I got home this afternoon you can only guess what we did!!! They were PERFECT size and the kids had a blast decorating them...

We are planning on hitting a lot more of the fun, fall festival activities they have up here just about every day this month, but this little decorating activity definitely got us all in the mood and itching for more!!

Trey and Ty decorated away while Taylen Jae got a few much needed ZZZ's....(She hasn't slept through the night for about 2 1/2 weeks straight...awful little virus going around!!! Ugh!!) So, I wasn't about to wake her up for this...her time will come, soon enough!!!

Ty making sure the mouth and nose were in the "right" spot....Looking Good!!

Her masterpiece!! (Notice the cat's ears and the witch's hat....she wanted them both and Trey man was nice enough to hand over the purple hat, without much fuss, I must add. Which doesn't always go so smoothly!!!)

"Ta-Da!"

 Good to Go!!

The perfect little pumpkin family....

Here's to all the little Fall and Halloween fun to come!!! What a great time of year....

Happy Carving....or decorating like we like to do this early in October!!! Nothing is worse than rotting, stinky, moldy pumpkins by Halloween night!!!

A Little Message for....

Maw-Maw Cindy since he wasn't able to tell her in person today....

Isn't that just adorable, or what!??!

All ready to open it up and put it together...

Following the picture directions...he got all those pieces together and was so proud of himself!!

The kiddos LOVED their Halloween goodie box and the flashlights are going to be PERFECT!!

Thanks for thinking about us!! We love and miss you TONS!!!

(PS...I tried getting Tylee to send you a message, but she was TOTALLY camera shy!! Which I found to be kinda odd for her!!)

Happy (Early) Halloween!!! We LOVE you!!

Another day of FIRSTS....

for Miss Tay-Tay!

If you can't tell from my latest posts, we are all enjoying many of Taylen's "firsts" lately. We've had first smile, first coo, first 1/2 birthday, first cereal experience, first teeth, etc...this evening was filled with two more of her fun milestones....

First time sitting in the highchair!! Still not wanting hardly anything to do with the food, but I did manage to get her to take a couple bites!! With or without food, the highchair, which I might add is still in great shape from Trey-Man and Tylee Jean, was still so much fun for her. We are definitely getting our money's worth outta that one...great shower gift! Although, Trey did make the comment that it looked like a "boy's" highchair...I told him Taylen definitely didn't care!!

Checking out the new bib action...kinda crunchy!! (But, oh so easy for Momma to wipe clean ;)

As usual, always checking out what big bro and sis are doing!! They seem to be so much more interesting than the task at hand....

After the fun in the highchair it was time for he first bath with her big sister...they aren't able to "play" water toys together yet, but they were able to share a few laughs and smiles...Definitely the first of many to come ;)

Looking up at Daddy...all grins....

Sharing a little sister moment...

And, of course chewing on the stacking bath cups....along with EVERYTHING else she can get her hands on these days!!

Yeah, Baby Girl! We are all excited about all of your FIRSTS lately! Keep them a comin'....Love You Bunches and Bunches Peanut!!!

Two Toofers....

have made their way through...so, Little Miss officially has her first set of teeth!

Look closely...I snapped this pic of her looking up at her older and very, very, very silly brother! But, upon closer look, it totally doubled as the perfect tooth shot....

Seems like each new day brings a new milestone for this little one. Here's to getting rid of all that gunky that has come along with the teeth...poor girl has to be just about snotted out!!

Yay for teeth, baby girl!!

Love you!!

Sitting Pretty...

Tay-Tay is getting to be such a BIG girl and is doing such a FANTASTIC job of sitting up!! I cannot believe that the time has already come....

Way to Go, Taylen Jae!!!

See...no Boppy or assistance needed :)

You totally know where that zebra is going to end up....

Yep....STRAIGHT to the mouth!! Yummy!

Isn't she just the cutests little thing?!?! Love. Her.

Such a BIG girl...slobber and all!!

And, of course....after ALL that hard work, nothing sounded better than a sweet little nap with her big sis!! I'm sure this is the first of many naps they'll be taking together!!!

Ready to Read...

Trey Jacob has been absolutely LOVING kindergarten and especially loves the reading program they have at school. Each week, they focus on a new book, highlighting, or "buttering" as he calls it his "popcorn" word for the week, which just happened to be "and" this past week, and is "see" this week. After using the book in class all week, they get to bring it home and keep it forever. He even got to decorate the cutest little pizza box to use as a safe place to store all of the book.

This evening, while the kids and I were sitting around the table and coloring after dinner, Trey read us one of his very own books....He's quite the character so gather 'round and listen up!!

Trey, what a great job you are doing with all your reading and writing activities!! We are so proud of you, buddy! You know all your popcorn words and many, many others. Way to GO and keep up the awesome work at school!!

We can't wait to listen to you read all your new books!!

Reading is so much FUN and I know you'll be teaching your sisters before you know it!!!
